The game is set in a near future, thirty years after the events of Killzone 3. The Assault role is a close-combat terror. The Medic and Tactician fare worse in constant battle; rather, the former excels in reviving and resupplying comrades, while the latter is a master of boosting team defenses via turrets and Nano Shields.
